Dan graduated from Brick Township High School in 1974, and then went to Glassboro State College, where he studied Special Education. He was hired upon his graduation to become a teacher and coach at his Alma Mater. He coached football for 14 years there under his coach, Warren Wolf, and then moved on to become head football coach at Central Regional for 12 years, and 10 more as head coach at Donovan Catholic. Dan is a member of four Halls of Fame, his favorite being that of Brick Township High School. Dan has been married for 33 years and he and his wife, Maura, have 8 children. He is currently employed as guidance counselor at Donovan Catholic.
